Granite Gratitudes GRANITE IN THE COMMUNITY

We love Rapid City and the Black Hills; it's where we live, work, and play.

We also know that strong communities are built upon strong foundations. That's why we started Granite Gratitudes, a community service initiative that helps nonprofits, volunteer organizations, and charities throughout the Black Hills.

In 2018, we donated more than $30,000 in corporate contributions and nonprofit sponsorships. Since then, we've continued to contribute funds, donations, and community service hours to various charitable and volunteer organizations in our area. As our philanthropic efforts grow, so do the requests we receive for donations.

In order to review these requests, we have established criteria to help us best serve those in need of assistance:

• Granite Automotive will only donate to non-profit (501-3C) charitable organizations that are located in the Black Hills areas.
• Granite Automotive donates small amounts of money or services to a large number of qualifying local organizations and larger monetary amounts to only a small, select group of local organizations.
• Granite Automotive does not donate to individuals for their pursuit of personal goals or tragedies. Instead, we give to supporting organizations that, in turn help those in need.

We believe the importance of giving back to our community cannot be overstated. Our Granite Gratitudes community service initiative shows that even small acts of kindness can make a significant difference in the lives of those in need.
